Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Death. — We have this week to record the death of Frederick H. Brown, at the Katanning public hospital, which tookplaee yesterday morning. The late Mr Brown was a member of the A.I.F., and a few years ago a sturdy young man. He, however, a couple of years or so back developed a malignant complaint, from which he must have been a terrible sufferer. Wasted to a shadow, he had for many months past been an inmate of the hospital with no hope of a cure, and only awaiting the end. He was a repected member of the local R.S.L. The remains were interred in Katanning Cemetery this afternoon.
