Born as Leslie Roy Kaufline but served under the name of Leslie Roy Kaufline Coffey.
Son of Vincent Kaufline (where abouts unknown) and Nellie (Ellen) Kaufline of St. John's Road, Forest Lodge, NSW
Commenced return to Australia on 1 July 1919 aboard HT Norman but failed to re-embark at Cape Town on 20 August 1919, South Africa later embarked HT Ulysses 25 August 1919
