Kings Park Honour Avenues Plaque
In recognition of James McGrath who at just 18 years of age made the ultimate sacrifice at Pozieres France on the 06/08/1916, The RSL Honour Avenues Group of Highgate presented me with the honour plaque that I had requested.
The very moving dedication service took place in Kings Park Western Australia on the 19/08/2017 in the presence of members of the Honour Avenues Group, a chaplain & an Australian army bugler.
In memory of James McGrath the plaque is now a permanent fixture in front of a tree on May Drive Kings Park.
Dedicated by his great nephew Michael Oliver.
