Son of Jesse Verrier and Alice Verrier nee Brown of Kelmscott, WA later of 'The Falls' Karragullen, WA & Roy Street, Perth, WA.

Brother of Samuel James Verrier who was killed in action on 1 April 1917 while serving with the 51st Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on the Villers-Bretonneux

Commenced return to Australia on 17 March 1917 aboard HT Beltana 5 May 1917
