Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of Thomas and Jessie BURRILL, Oatlands, Tasmania

THE LORD CALLETH HIS OWN

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Burrill, of Oatlands, have received word that their son, Private Harold Burrill, has been killed in action in Egypt. He was well known as a splendid hand with horses, and had  ridden at trials of hunters at North and South shows. He was also a good footballer. Very genuine sympathy is felt for Mr. and Mrs. Burrill and family in their sad loss.
