Arthur was 22 and the son of Reverend John David and Catherine Annie Evans, of The Vicarage, Penmark, Cardiff. He emigrated from London to Sydney aboard SS Themistocles on 2 Apr 1914.
Arthur was killed in action during the Battle of Amiens on 12 August 1918.
