Brother of Daniel David Quigely who returned to Australia on 21 February 1919 having served with the 50th Battalion; Thomas Andrew Quigley who returned to Australia 12 July 1919 having served with the 50th Battalion; Joseph Quigley who returned to Australia on 23 March 1919 having served with the 32nd Battalion
Commenced return to Australia on 17 October 1917 aboard HT Port Lyttleton disembarking on 11 December 1917 having served with the 50th Battalion.
