"...1506 Private (Pte) Frederick McPherson, 11th Reinforcements, 4th Light Horse Regiment, of North Gippsland, Vic. Pte McPherson enlisted on 16 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Palermo on 29 October 1915. He returned to Australia on 24 July 1919." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
