"THE LATE PRIVATE A. J. JOHNSTON.

Private A. J. Johnston, whose mother (Mrs. S. Winter) resides at Lanor-avenue, Hyde Park, was 31 years of age. He was a surveyor and was for some time a member of the Government survey camp in the Northern Territory. He enlisted at Adelaide on December 15 last, and left for the front on March 16 with the 15th Reinforcements of the 3rd Light Horse.
