Brother of Arthur Overson who returned to Australia on 7 September 1919 having served with the 2nd Pioneer Battalion; Crask Overson who returned to australia on 7 January 1919 having served with the 3rd Field Ambulance; Walter Crask Overson who returned to Australia on 20 July 1919 having served with the 2nd Pioneer Battalion
Commenced return to Australia on 23 March 1919 aboard HT Cluney Castle disembarking at Adelaide on 21 May 1919 for onward travel to Brisbane
