Son of Michael Joseph HANNIFFY and Ellen HANNIFFY nee UNDERWOOD of Morrow Street, West End, Townsville, Queensland.
Michael Joseph Hanniffy aged 61, a native of Bowen, and a resident of Townsville for the past 46 years, living at 52 Morris Street, West End and a veteran of the first world war, died on Thursday night. He is survived by his aged mother, three brothers Frank, of Stanthorpe, Charlie, Charters Towers, and William Brisbane, and four sisters. Mesdames L McCarthy, F Heerv, W. Pegnall of Townsville, and F. M. James of Rockhampton.
