Edward Wildes Holyoak LADD was born in Melbourne, Victoria on 12th March, 1889

His parents were Charles Henry Salter LADD & Emily HOLYOAK

His brother Harry Matthew LADD (SN 320) served in the 12th Field Artillery Brigade during WW1 and was discharged in 1919 - he was awarded a Military Medal - he also served durig WW2 (SN V373171) with the Volunteer Defence Corp - 6th Battalion and was discharged in 1945

He died in the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital in 1948
