Husband of Gerturde Fox of 6 Gordon Street, Inveresk, Launceston, Tasmania. Father of Albert Edward Fox C/- of his grandmoter Annie Wilkins of Derby, Tasmania
Returned to Australia (first time) in December 1916 aboard HT Ayrshire for treatment to a tumour in the abdomen returning to duty on 16 March 1917
Returned to Australia on 18 August 1919 aboard Wiltshire disembarking at Melbourne for onward travel to Tasmania
After the war he was employed by the Hydro Electric Commission, Hobart, Tasmania
