19 Sep 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 875, 24th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, Accidental BW sustained in the front line at Lone Pine (bomb exploded before it could be thrown). Evacuated to 6th Field Ambulance where he died of his wounds the next day 20 September 1915.

Son of Robert Turner Farish and Ann Elizabeth Farish of Bowen Street, St. Arnaud, Victoria. Brother of Albert Kauman Farish who returned to Australia on 11 April 1916  having served with the 24th Battalion and Isabel Farish
