Biography

Albert was the son of Samuel Day and Susanne (nee Simmons). He married Clara Irene Martin on 06 May 1916 in the Pirie Street Methodist Church, Adelaide. They had no children.

"DAY.— Killed in action on the 8th August, Sgt. Albert S. Day (43rd (Battalion), dearly loved husband of Clara I. Day, King William road, North Unley, and son of late Samuel Day, of Hindmarsh.
