Son of Albert Edward and Mary Brook of Police Station, Royal Park, Victoria; brother of Lt, Claude Edward Brook who returned to Australia on 30 April 1919
Arthur was killed in aerial combat. He had been observing Artillery with a Lt. P.H. Kerr (pilot). On their return at about 9pm they attacked by Pfalz Scout which resulted in Arthur being killed by machine gun fire
