The 18th name inscribed is Private William Adnet Alexander Scott Jnr.

On the 17th October 1959, Private William Adnet Alexander Scott Jnr, 3rd Battalion (Reg No-4564), wheeler (Messrs. J. and A. Brown's Duckenfield Colliery), from Purple Hill, Minmi, New South Wales and Railway Parade, Canley Vale, N.S.W. (1920), father of two-(Irene, Allan), died age 63 years 10 months, and was laid to rest at Field of Mars Cemetery, Ryde, N.S.W., date unknown. Portion: Mth Section: Sec 1 - New Plot: 1244. Not listed on website.

Born at Minmi, New South Wales on the 9th December 1895 to William Snr, died 5.1.1925, Kurri Kurri, N.S.W., buried at Minmi Cemetery - Left Hand Side, Section 29, Plot 010, late of Minmi, from Neath Street, Pelaw Main, N.S.W., and Mary Ellen Martha Francis Scott nee Elsley, died 27.6.1928, Gosford, N.S.W., age 57, sleeping at Minmi Cemetery - Left Hand Side, Section 29, Plot 010, late of Minmi, from Neath Street, Pelaw Main, N.S.W.; husband of Maude Scott nee?, married?, died?

Will enlisted on the 25th August 1915, age 19 years 8 months, at Newcastle, N.S.W.

Admitted to hospital 5.5.1916 (coryza), 15.5.1916 (rheumatic fever), 31.12.1916 (typhoid fever), 13.1.1917 (enteric fever), 15.4.1917 (scabies).

Granted leave to England from 16.3.1917 to 31.3.1917 and 21.12.1918 to 4.1.1919.

Wounded in action - 18.9.1918 (GSW left ankle, left calf & left buttock, right leg, severe).

Invalided to England 27.9.1918.

Amputated right leg (at knee) 28.9.1918.

Commenced return to Australia 19.4.1919.

Will arrived home invalided on the 10th June 1919, not being discharged until the 20th June 1920.

Mr. Scott’s name has also been inscribed on the Minmi St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Roll of Honour.
