Son of Robert and Mary Gilmore of 34c Block, Peabody Buildings, Bedfordbury, Charing Cross, London, England. Next of kin was given as his brother Thomas Gilmore

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

Also served as a Gunner with the Royal Garrsion Artillery for about 7 years
