Son of John Patrick O'Gorman and Hannah O'Gorman nee Rogers of Corner of Baker and Ford Streets, Wangaratta, Victoria.
Brother of George O'Gorman MSM who returned to Australia on 29 May 1919 Having served with the 21st Battalion and 2nd Machine Gun Battalion; John James O'Gorman who was killed in action on 3 May 1917 while serving with 6th Machine Gun Company and has no known grave, His name appears on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial
