Husband of Alice Monckton KEMP nee DUNCAN
Frederick enlisted on 28 December 1914 at Liverpool and embarked for active serivce to Gallipoli where he was wounded 7th August 1915. He then went onto Egypt and later France where he was again wounded 23rd July 1916. Invalided back to Australia and discharded 01 September 1919.
KEMP-DUNCAN
A very quiet wedding was solemnized in St. Andrew's Church on Monday last, (12 November 1923) the contracting parties being Alice MoncktonDuncan, "Mooraberrie", Windorah and Frederick Clifford Kemp of Sydney (late of the A.I.F.) The Rev H.C. Wilson officiated. The bridal party left by mail train the same day for Sydney, where the honeymoon is being spent.
Later in life he was associated with Mooraberrie and Donald Downs and in 1967 his widow Alice Duncan-Kemp applied for his Gallipoli medal from an address in Oakey.
Frederick died 12th June 1958 was buried in the Winton Cemetery.
