Son of William Quinsee and Margaret Leslie Quinn nee Blair of North Fitzroy, Victoria. 

Brother of John Leggatt Leslie Quinsee who returned to Australia on 5 August 1919 having served with the 59th Battalion.

Husband of Emma May Quinsee nee Sanford of Beavers Road, Northcote, Victoria. Albert and May married during 1912c in Victoria.

Commenced return to Australia on 27 July 1917 aboard HT Dempthenes disembarking on 24 September 1917
