The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 166+167 and 274. prior to the war he was a herd tester of Lismore NSW. He enlisted 21st August 1915 aged 19 years. He served with the 9th Infantry Battalion rising to the rank of Lieutenant. During his service he was awarded the Military Medal. Unfortunately, he was Killed In Action 20th July 1918. Rest In Peace. Lest We Forget
