Biography

Frederick PENNINGTON was born in Launceston, Tasmania on 30th January, 1876

His parents were William PENNINGTON & Ida Dyson SMITHIES who married in Tasmania on 9th July, 1868

He married Alice Selina (Lena) YOUNG on 24th May, 1896

His brother William PENNINGTON (SN2130) also served in WW1 in the 40th Infantry Battalion - he died in 1923 (no further details)
