Son of Josiah and Ellen WARREN of Highbury, via Hope Valley, SA
The late Private A. R. Warren was born at Prospect Hill on May 2, 1896, and lived there the greater part of his life. He was on the West Coast for a few years, and then returned to Prospect Hill, where he enlisted. He sailed with the 6th Reinforcement of the 43rd Battalion last December, and was killed in action on July 31.
