William Henry Hunt was born in Albury and lived in Junee. His Parents were William Charles Henry Hunt and his mother was Ada Hunt. He enlisted at Liverpool just 7 days after William Henry Hunt from Helensburgh. Interesting Junee William enlisted on 18th November 1914 and got Number 1345 yet William Henry Hunt from Helensburgh enlisted on 11th November and got Service No. 1347. Willaim Henry Hunt Junee embarked on the same ship as William Henry Hunt from Helensburgh. The Seeang Bee. They never met. William Henry Hunt (Junee) was wounded on 11th May 1915 on Gallipoli. After William Henry Hunt from Helensburgh now living at Clovelly died there was a knock on the door. It was William Henry Hunt from Junee. He wanted to meet William Henry Hunt as he kept getting William's mail during the war. Grandma said sorry William has passed away.
