"PRIVATE E. M. COLLATON.
Private Collaton, who left for the front under the command of Lieut.-Colonel O'Loghlin, is a member of the Traffic Department of S.A.R. Latest advices received from him are of a very encouraging nature. More men is his appeal, and victory for the Allies is assured." - from the Adelaide Southern Cross 17 Dec 1915 (nla.gov.au)
