Next of kin was given as his grandmother Ellen Mapstone of 448 Harris Street, Ultimo, NSW.
16 March 1919 - returned to Australia on board Dunlace Castle but disappeared. He may have beena victim of foul play as he was not seen after 9.30pm when he ship had anchored of shore in Sydney Harbour
