Husband of Amelia Melenea Vandenberg Australia Street, Camperdown, NSW.

Father of Joseph William Vandenberg who returned to Australia on 20 October 1919 having served with the 56th Battalion and Goulburn Henry Vandenberg who was discharged at Rabaul on 21 October 1919.  and Alfred Ernest Vandenberg who returned to Australia on 20 May 1919 having served with the 1st Field Artillery Brigade. 

Commenced return to Australia on 25 August 1917 aboard HT Benalla disembarking on 27 October 1917
