Personal Stories
Leslie Winter Reid
Leslie Winter Reid was a travelling salesman prior to enlisting in WW1. He was wounded in France in February 1917 receiving a shell wound in his right knee. This probably was the reason that upon his return to civilian life he started a clothing business where he would not have to travel. L.W.Reid is still a thriving business today.
