His brother, Second Lieutenant Hugh Vaughan Massie, M.M., aged 24, also fell [08/03/1917] whilst serving with the 22nd Bn. Australian Infantry, A.I.F.
They were sons of Frank Hamilton Massie and Mary Agnes O'Neill Massie.
Frank left a widow, Jean Rebecca Massie, of "Ytham," Illabo, New South Wales.
