Biography
The son of Henry Eyres & Eva Jane Wood; Adolphus was the eldest of three children Henry Vernon 1894 & Eva St Clair 1897 all born in Cooktown.
Adolphus suffered gunshot wounds and eventually returned home after the war when he married Vera Doris Moore in 1920 at Cooktown. They resided in the Cooktown & Atherton Tablelands/Mareeba area.
Adolphus and Vera had seven children (Eveline, Henry, Irene, Joyce, Archie, Merle & Rita)
