Son of Son of Alfred Lang Hawken and Margaret Ann Hawken, of Trulins Farm, Newham, Gloucester, England formerly of Raleigh, Essex, England.
Brother of Thomas Lockwood Hawken who was killed in action on 4 October 1917 while serving with the 22nd Battalion and was buried in the Oxford Road, Cemetery, Belgium Plot 11, Row G, Grave 7
