True name Alexander Robert Seamons

Son of George Seamons and Isabella Seamons nee Wilson of Tatura, Victoria.

Brother of George Wilson Seamons who returned to Australia on 31 January 1918 having served with the 7th Battalion, Charles John Seamons who died of wounds on 7 August 1916 and is buried in the Pozieres British Cemetery; Plot 111, Row R, Brave 34, Mayse Seamons, Margaret Isabella Seamons, Alfred Edward  Seamons, Sarah Seamons, Alfred Edward Seamons (later named next of kin) and William Alexander Seamons

Commenced return to Australia on 28 March 1919 aboard HT City of Poona disembarking on the 14 May 1919
