Son of Thomas Quinn of George Street, Hindmarsh, SA.

Previously enlisted during December 1914 but was discharged during March 1915 when it was discovered that he was under age.

Commenced return to Australia on 22 December 1918 aboard HT Leicestshire disembarking on 22 January 1919.
