Walter Wesley PRING-SHAMBLER was born in Gympie, Queensland on 26th April, 1896

His parents were Joseph Walter SHAMBLER & Sarah Jane PRING who married in Queensland on 13th June 1895

He married Susan Wardlaw ROSS in Queensland on 26th August, 1922 in the Presbyterian Church in Mowbraytown

He enlisted to serve during WW1 on 2nd February, 1918 and returned to Australia on 25th September, 1919 and was discharged on 11th December, 1919

He enlisted to serve during WW2 on 20th October, 1939 & was discharged on 18th May, 1940 as medically unfit

Walter died in Brisbane on 10th March, 1960
