Son of William and Barbara (nee Rhodes) Angell of 45 Galdstone Street, Kew, Vic. In August 1920 Barbara was residing at 124 William Street, East Prahran, Vic.

Harry was the brother of Eileen Maud Angell, James Norman Angell, Gladys Marjorie Angell, Barbara May Angell, Daisy Irene Angell, Lilian Grace Angell, Constance Ellen Angell, Frances Violet M Angell, Robert John Angell and William Franklin Angell

Member of the Trinity Ramblers Cricket Club, Kew.
