Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of John Baldock and Ada Isobel WISDOM

Jack Wisdom has laid down his life for his country. Earlier cables stated that he had been severely gassed and was in a dangerous condition. The late soldier, who was about 27 years of age, was a son of the late Mr. J. B. Wisdom. Another brother, Major Frank Wisdom. M.C, is still on service. Private Wisdom sailed in September last, and at one time was an officer in the Commercial Bank, writes the 'Examiner.'
