William's history
William David Gibb was born at Calder Road, near Wynyard, Tasmania on 19/7/1894. He was the third child of Mark and Sarah Gibb (nee Richardson). His siblings were Ethel, Andrew, Elizabeth (Edna) and Sarah. His mother died in 1900 when he was only 6 years old leaving his father to raise him.
