Older brother, Pte Robert Bartholomew FONTANA, 1st ANZAC Cyclist Battalion, KIA Herbecourt, France, 1 September 1918, Herbecourt British Cemetery, Row A, Grave 9.  Older brother 374 Pte Ernest FONTANA, 15th Light Horse Regiment, returned to Australia, 26 July 1919.
