Brother of John Alfred Foster who died in Johannesburg, South Africa on 8 June 1901 while serving with the England's 6th Royal Warwickshire Regiment
Brother of Thomas Edward Foster who died of wounds received at Messines, Belgium on 15 June 1917 while serving with the 49th Battalion and was buried in the Hazelbrouck Communal Cemetery. Plot 1, Row G, Grave 19
