Brother of Charles Herbert Clyde Voyer who returned to Australia having served with the Australian Naval & Military Expeditionary Forces and William Voyer who returned to Australia late 1917 having served with the 48th Battalion.

Husband of Margaret Scott Voyer nee Edwards of Alfred Street, Leederville, WA. Robert and Marguerite were married during 1905c in Perth, WA.

Commenced return to Australia on 5 July 1915 aboard HT Ballarat disembarking on 6 August 1915
