THE LATE PRIVATE H. P. BOWMAN.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Bowman, of Wilmington, have been officially notified that their son. Private H. P. Bowman, of Petersburg, was killed in action on August 16. 1916, while carrying a dispatch to Headquarters between Pozieres and Mouquet Farm. He was previously reported missing. Before enlisting he was employed in S.A.R., Petersburg. He was 23 years of age.
