Postcards from the Front 1918
My grandmother was Florence Victoria Gilpin (1903-1998) and she lived in Kurri. She knew Private Mick Moroney of 30th Battalion. In her photo album she placed three of the postcards she received from Pte M Moroney. A Souvenir with a card inserted from Corbie, 1918 Souvenir from France and a Happy Birthday Card. I have included these in the add link section. These are beautiful cards and no doubt provided that link with home for Pte Moroney. I include these as a tribute to Pte Moroney.
