25 Apr 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Sapper, 99, ANZAC / Gallipoli, Shrapnel wound left thigh late in day, 25th April. Evacuated to Alexandria after leaving the Peninsula at 2pm Tuesday 27th. Rejoined unit at Gallipoli 3rd June 1915
4 Jun 1915: Promoted Lance Corporal, 1st Divisional Signal Company
9 Aug 1915: Involvement 99, 1st Divisional Signal Company, ANZAC / Gallipoli, Enteric Fever, to Hospital Gallipoli. Transferred to CCS Debility 13 Aug. Embarked for England from Mudros 26th Aug. Military Hospital Devonport. Admitted 17th Sept 1915, Discharged 30th October 1915 (44 days treatment) to C.H.Launceston. Transferred to Monte Video Camp Weymouth 26th Feb 1916. To France 15th August 1916. Joined Unit from Reinforcements 19th October 1916.
