Military Medal
'At all times his work has been exceptionally good. At POZIERES he set his men a fine example being cool and resourceful throughout. Sergeant ROSS was wounded on the second last day of our occupation of the trenches. Period 25th July - 5th August and 21st August to 26th August, 1916.'
