Robert Dennis Desmond joined to fight in ww1 when he was 24 years old and died fighting in ww1 at the age of 26 years.

Robert was born in 1891 and joined to fight in 1915 and he was killed in action in 1917.

Robert was a Lieutenant in the Australian Army his service number is 301.

His parents were Daniel Desmond and Sarah Starr/Desmond.

Robert was born in Ballarat East, Victoria.

Robert Dennis Desmond's memorial is located at Canberra Australian War Memorial in the commemorative area no 177.
