Son of Michael coffey and Susan Plunkett of Adelaide: brother of Maurice (Morris) James Cofey, Arthur Thomas Coffey, Michael Francis Coffey, Annie May Coffey, Christopher Augustin Coffey, Edward Daly Coffey, Sylvester Plunkett Coffey, Florence Marie Coffey and Ruby Amelia Coffey
Edward and Maurice (Morris) both served in WW1 and returned. Edward died in 1921
Next of kin was given as his aunt Mrs Rose Gorner of 62 Angus Street, Adelaide, SA. Later of Kennilworth Street, Parkside, SA
