Son of Thomas Hough and Mary Ann Hough nee O'Brien of 'Mountain Home', Barry Rene, Cowra, NSW

Commenced return to Australia on 4 May 1917 aboard HT Militades disembarking on 5 July 1917 

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

Brother of Jeremiah Hough who returned to Australia on 20 July 1917 having served with the 3rd Pioneer Battalion and John Hough who was killed in action on 1 September 1916 and has no known grave. His name appears on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial
