Driver Hugh (Hughie) McLauglin Carson, 3rd Field Artillery Brigade, who died of wounds in France on 29 May 1918. Carson was wounded at Franvillers when he and fellow drivers were attempting to rescue their horses from wagon lines which were being shelled. Driver Carson is not forgotten.
