24 Aug 1918: | Embarked AIF WW1, Gunner, 26391, 3rd Field Artillery Battery, On the 24th August 1918 he Embarked from England bound for Australia due to his GSW Wounds the complication of Chronic Periostitis. | |
4 Apr 1920: | Discharged AIF WW1, Gunner, 26391, 3rd Field Artillery Battery, William was not Discharged until 1920 as he was undergoing continued treatment for the GSW & Chronic Periostitis to his legs (The Bones in his Legs). These GSW and the ensuing medical condition would plague him for the rest of his life (Died 1948). |
